27 OCTOBER 2011 Join us at KPMG's offices at 333 Bay Street on 27 October to hear who has won an award at the Fourth Annual Canadian Hedge Fund Awards. This year we have the full support and sponsorship of MANNA Asset Management (the hedge fund division of Kensington Capital), and KPMG. As in years past, we have kept the categories simple, measuring annualized performance and Sharpe Ratios over the last three years (end date 31 July 2011), and best 1-Year Return for “new funds” defined as those in existence for less than three years, with a one-year track record.

Plan to join us on the evening of the 16 November to welcome the Bermuda delegation to town. This will be the third year we have hosted a meeting here in the city, co-sponsored by the BSX and Business Bermuda. Our objective is to showcase the jurisdiction (post the TIEA being signed last June), and to further strengthen the ties that already exist between Toronto and Bermuda. This year the format is very different. We plan a cocktail reception on Wednesday evening downtown, in some suitably elegant surroundings, a brief keynote speech will be followed by some informal networking. On Thursday 17 November we will host an after-the-close session, at Bennett Jones' offices, kicking off at 3PM and running through to the early evening.
